A mirror depicting a symbolic map
of the world used etched and
sandblasting techniques. An
illustrated article appeared in the
Bulletin newspaper at the time
showing the various processes
used to render Ralph’s intricate
designs on to mirrored glass.

The wall murals in the bar area were designed by Ralph Cowan and transferred onto Bakerlite a fashionable material of the time.
